Wow good for you, I've never been that bold when they come around. I've never had anyone very young here but one time and the teenage girl totally hated door to door work and I felt sorry for her being forced to go out. I remember forcing my kids to go out in the preaching work. I wish now I'd said something to that young teenage girl she would have loved it. I was trying to engage them in a converstation without giving myself away.

at the rate jw's are hemmoraging members moshe, give it time and they will get that on 50% of the doors!

Highdose - great work! I wish I had the where-with-all to be able to speak like that.
" if you would read our magazines you would find out that we are good people!" , " i know exactly what kind of people you are! trouble is you don't" i said, he stumbled around saying "well.... well" obivously losted for words, so i said goodbye and put them out of their misery.
This is very telling... his statement 'read our magazines...'
One thought is... 'Actions speak louder than words.'
It must have felt wonderful terminating the conversation - not giving him a chance to say anything (well, he had the chance... he was just blown away.)
