Mormon Version of Hell

I have different experiences with Mormons. As a child, we lived next door to a Mormon family, and I always thought that they were the homiest and warmest people I knew. I loved the mom; she was so huggable and patient. As an adult, I've been friends with a Mormon family for years, and never once have they attempted to push their beliefs on me, or treat me as a lesser person. In fact, even being among their entire circle, ( a quarter of our townhouse complexes were Mormon) I was warmly welcomed without having faith or religion brought up even once.

Maybe I just got lucky, or maybe this circle truly had love among themselves.

Doesn't mean I believe them or that I want to join. Just thought I should share my perspective, limited though it may be.

Of the two, I'd prefer the Mormon version. Easy.

I don't want my spirit to sleep. I'd just as soon stay awake, thank you.

The JWs scared the daylights out of my grandmother (a Methodist) with their talk of soul sleeping. I don't blame her. There's something about being bug food that just turns me off.

The Mormons also believe in premortality as well, which I like. I think God would be arbitrary and capricious to just create people and send them to this stinking hell hole of existence without their consent. Adam and Eve may have sinned, but what did we do to deserve this?
