Should true knowledge, potentially dangerous, be released?

Sometimes, I keep things that I THINK I know to myself, at least in their early stages, and until I can reflect on them more. Sometimes my views on these new things that I think I know, change.

Other times I voice my thoughts, because I can't grasp a full or rational understanding of a new idea by talking it over with... well, with myself. I need critical feedback from other people.

Occasionally I have worried about stumbling someone else. I've even made myself sick with worry over careless things that I have stated. I think most people here are less likely to blindly trust what anyone has to say, but there are also new and vulnerable people joining or lurking.

You could always PM some of the very strong-minded people (or an open-minded atheist who you can't possibly stumble) on this board first, if you're really itching for some feedback.

Onthewayout - if that is true, (not saying yes or no), but 'if', then what does it mean? Was it all a fake or is there something else there?

This book does a good job of explaining it.

The Bible was put together for political reasons, the ambition of a king (Josiah).
Before that, the stuff of Genesis was written in the same way that most all ancient mythologies were written- as a way to give answers.

Is there something out there? Your answer is as valid to you as mine is to me.

The Jews never lived under the Mosaic Law, ever.
There was no exodus from Egypt.

I don't know if I ever thought about looking @ it that way! There is physical evidents of the red sea crossing, but what about mentally or spiritually? The Egyptians continued to go after the Isrealites and some was swallowed up by the Red Sea, but some other Egytians survived and probably never give up.

Well you know what Jesus said, and I don't believe he said bring your bibles: Mathew 24: 15 “Therefore, when YOU catch sight of the disgusting thing that causes desolation, as spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in a holy place, (let the reader use discernment,) 16 then let those in Ju·de´a begin fleeing to the mountains. 17 Let the man on the housetop not come down to take the goods out of his house; 18 and let the man in the field not return to the house to pick up his outer garment. 19 Woe to the pregnant women and those suckling a baby in those days! 20 Keep praying that YOUR flight may not occur in wintertime, nor on the sabbath day; 21 for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.

Ecclesiastes 12: 12 As regards anything besides these, my son, take a warning: To the making of many books there is no end, and much devotion [to them] is wearisome to the flesh.

13 The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the [true] God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole [obligation] of man. 14 For the [true] God himself will bring every sort of work into the judgment in relation to every hidden thing, as to whether it is good or bad.

AW! Shucks you-all it is a beautiful day out today, let's get out and enjoy life...

    THanks for the feedback everyone.

Hope I feel at peace soon to show this one big breakthrough so to say. It will def raise a bunch of questions. Just hoping it's not a trap. (me becoming a cause of stumbling, then woe to me)

This is so hard, overbearing, just have to vent. The bible contains a lot of 'hidden manna', and treasure, it's quite literally correct when it says to seek those things out. I know I need to be patient and our heavenly father will guide me.

Until you sort out the things which make up your premise (presuppositions) you'll always conclude the same way.

Remember, there was a Greek fellow named Euclid who set out to prove geometric theorems.

He compiled all the known theorems into a book.

Today, thousands of years later, no matter where you go (any country) that book by Euclid is still VALID and provable. Why? Because it

goes from inescapable premises to logical conclusions which are always the same for everybody.

Why? Because they conform to reality.

    Now, look at the Bible.

No two people come out with the same conclusions.

    Why?

It does not conform to reality.

If you start out thinking the bible contains hidden, divine wisdom you will always search for it.

    Try questioning that premise FIRST!

Funny broken, then you'd also prob try to make a publish a book about it. Hoping a way to disclose if/when time is right so that it spreads quickly enough nobody can try to profit from it. Receive freely, give freely.

The bible has fueled more psychotic minds than any other book in history. Well, except for the Kuran.
