I guess after being associated with the Jw's (I just can't call it the truth!) for about 40 years I had it drilled into my head that an "apostate" website isn't where one should be. I was just lurking and taking note. Just watching. I realized that many of the people here are just like my neighbors...good decent people. I've told my wife that I want to be a good person. I'll never cheat on her. I'll go to work everyday and work hard. I won't harm anyone. I don't want to steal or cheat. I'll love my family unconditionally.If I accomplish that in my life and thats how people remember me I'll be pretty happy. I think thats what God wants for us. Truth of the matter is I think thats how most people want to live!
Before I sent my first message I took a deep breath and hit the "enter" button on my keyboard. It felt good. A little naughty, but still good. When you have things drilled into your head for so long it takes a while to let go.
