    Hi Lease ,

With specific example, please eloborate on that. I believe in clear and effective communication. And, the lack of it is the source of many of marital discords. Thank you.

I believe your statement is way over the top

Bull crap. He regularly posts enough information about himself to be as good as a fingerprint. Picture or no picture, anyone related to him will know who he is. He's petty, mean spirited, and rude.

No ideal height. Small Man Syndrome occurs in some shorter than average guys when they begin seeing themselves as less than a man should be.

I certainly don't need to get with any man who has a serious issue with male ego and self esteem.

They tend to be petty, mean spirited, and rude.

Some are 6'1" but act like they are 1'6".

I've said it before and I'll say it again. When I was younger I could overlook things better than I do now.

One dealbreaker in a significant other is RELIGION. I have no stomach for "happy talk" Jesus style.

Another deal breaker is the New Age fluffy Meditation Wayne Dyer/Deepak Chopra believer!

I mean, fer cryin' out loud! Do you folks know what you sound like?

Smokers. Who wants to kiss them? Not me.

Bitter divorced independant souls. Must we talk about how awful your Ex was?

People with no opinions. Don't read newspapers, watch the news or read NON-fiction books. They haven't seen or heard a real IDEA in years.

Sports fanatics! Holy Moses, I don't care who won, who is going to win or who is just going to go out there and do their best!

Where are the creative people who write, who think, who draw or sculpt? Instead you get needlepoint, candlemaking and (shudder) poets!

Animal lover fanatics. If you dress your dog and talk to them like they are your cousin or your sweetheart---get me outta there!

You like them to "kiss" you on your face? Guess what? A dog's toilet paper is their tongue. Think about that one.

Naive people. There isn't an 1/8th of depth to anything you say, think or opinionate about. Surface patina and no profundity. Spare me when you

state the obvious with such a sense of discovery.

How about an interesting person? A person who is curious, interested, exploring, discovering things would be so nice. Somebody I could learn

something from because they took the trouble to care enough to be smart about something.

How about somebody who know what a premise is? Somebody who can spot a fallacy. Somebody with respect for logical argument rather than emotional outburst?

In short--where are the really really smart people who aren't dopers, tatto freaks, vegetarian tree-hugger greenpeace rock-n-roll forever billboards

    for some 70's sitcom?

And you wonder why I'm grumpy!

    Scott,

I am not going to change myself for any man. If I change anything, it will be for me because I want to. I am good enough for anyone and so are many other women. Now, it's time for people to stop listening to how Hollywood wants everyone to look like. It just isn't healthy, not physically or emotionally.

I also would never want to be with someone who wants me to change or says that I need a serious make over. Who do they think they are, anyway?!

I dont care how Hollywood wants people to look. It all depends what you need and how fast :-)

Please, remember the old saying: Running extra mile for the sake of other, Sacrifice for the sake of other's needs. Please, White Dove, assuming ASO tells you to put on a blue dress to match your shoes because his friends at the party will be happy as well as himself, will that be an extra burden?

He committed the unforgivable sin by saying that I need a serious make-over. Men shouldn't say such things to women, especially when they are baseless.

Are you two metro-sexual? I ask because normally men don't care about color coordination of their ladies' clothing.

What kind of party is it where the men care if a woman's dress is the same color as her shoes?

I don't go to THOSE kinds of parties, thank you very much.
