When i was 'in' and married it was something only seen in a porn mag... so asking for a trim job down there pretty much was like admitting to looking at porn... which i was.
after marriage and i met women who waxed i was truly thrilled i must say.
did you know that you can buy pubic wigs? they are called a 'merkin'. One source says they were first used in 1450 as women shaved the pubes to combat lice and prostitutes would wear one to hide hide signs of STDs.
talk about sweeping things under the rug!

I just came back to this thread and realize that my original comment may sound like am condeming this.
I was trying to answer strictly from JW perspective, not my own.
My personal opinion is that waxing and trimming and grooming is good and clean and fun.

I agree that it is a fad, a recent fashion. If it wasn’t for the prevalence of porn on the internet, I doubt it would be as widely known as it is today.
My experience has shown that guys over 40 don’t care so much for it, but younger guys do.
