    You guys are too funny!

I don't have any pictures of me from when I was fifteen years younger. My mom has them all. Speaking of moms, that's how I'm changing over the years. I am looking more and more like her.

    *Sigh.*

My mom's pretty and all... but who wants to be told that they look like their mother?

    Tammy

P.S. - John Doe: I liked you better in 1990.

The biggest difference in the last 10 years... My hair, which used to be bright strawberry blond/gingerish, is now thoroughly streaked with white in the front and over all much lighter.

People keep asking me if I've had my hair frosted. Other than that...I'm pretty much the same. Oh, and I now wear bifocals to read, but hell, doesn't everyone in their 50s?

I'm actually physically in better shape than I was in my 40s. I have fibromyalgia, which has actually gotten better with time and treatment over the years. Or maybe it just gave up and went away, I don't know. Sometimes, it does that.

In my forties, I often had to use a cane when I had a lot of pain in my legs...I'm fine now. I think getting rid of a lot of stress called "the truth" has had something to do with that.

This is from 7 years ago...my hair is lighter, but I still look pretty much like this:

When I'm on the book buy counter at work I have to ask for I.D.

The driver's license photos which are only a few years old hardly ever match the actual person.

    Changes come so quickly.

    Scary.

Tis a pity there is such a desperation among many to rush to plastic surgery.

Hardly anybody looks natural after it.

I think wearing your age with dignity is noble.
