The daily text for today is a good way to show dubs that you talk to that everyone except Jehovah's Witnesses will be destroyed. I have found that when I do get a chance to say something to a dub about this they usually say "we don't judge so we can't say who will be destroyed" the bORG was kind enough to put it in writing for me:

Today's Text:Saturday May 1 2010(Put a mark on the foreheads of the men that are sighing and groaning over all the detestables things that are being done.Ezekial.9:4

Following that marking work, six men with slaughtering weapons are commanded to execute all those who do not have the mark.(Ezekial 9:1-6)Ezekial's vision highlights one reason why our ongoing search for people who are sighing and groaning is so urgent.

It involves lives.Soon,Jehovah's heavenly executional forces, represented by the six men with weapons, will destroy those who do not have the symbolic mark .Concerning that coming judgement, the apostle wrote that the Lord Jesus, accompanied by his powerful angels will bring vengenance upon those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus.2 Thess1:7,8
) Notice that people will be judged on the basis of their response to the good news .Hence, the proclamation of God's message must continue unabated right to the end.-Rev14:6,7 w08 7/15 1:10,12

The loving and true god Jehovah who once killed all human inhabitants on the earth except for one family in a global flood

is going to do it all over again.

He is the creator of the everything in the entire universe but he does have some insecurity issues.

Gee I wonder why people who read the bible over a long period of time get psychologically screwed up

or worse try to emulate the exact social standards as those established by those ancient civilizations.

Perhaps we should all grab a JW shake and slap them and inform them thats its the year 2010,

some may actually wake up to this fact.

I find it very strange that THE supposed creator is so destructive.

I have discussed this before on JWN. The WTS tries to dance around the concept that non-jws are going to be destroyed at Armageddon. But using Ezekiel 9 they have stated that only people baptized as jws will survive.

***Isaiah Prophecy book p-2 chap. 17 pp. 254-255 par. 14 Foreigners Gathered to God’s House of Prayer ***In 1931 the position of these was better understood when the book Vindication was published. As part of a verse-by-verse discussion of the Bible book of Ezekiel, Vindication explained the vision of "the man" with the writer’s inkhorn. (Ezekiel 9:1-11) This "man" is seen going through Jerusalem and marking the foreheads of those sighing and crying over the abominations being committed there. "The man" represents Jesus’ brothers, the remnant of anointed Christians alive on earth during the time of judgment of antitypical Jerusalem, Christendom. Those marked are the other sheep living during that time. In the vision they are spared when Jehovah’s executioners bring vengeance on that apostate city.

*** w07 7/1 p. 13 Highlights From the Book of Ezekiel—I ***9:3-6.Acquiring the mark—the evidence that we are dedicated, baptized servants of God and that we have the Christian personality—is essential for surviving the "great tribulation." (Matthew 24:21) Anointed Christians, represented by the man with the secretary’s inkhorn, are taking the lead in doing the marking work, that is, the Kingdom-preaching and disciple-making work. If we want to retain our mark, we must zealously help them in this work.

***Knowledge book kl chap. 18 p. 180 par. 21 Make It Your Aim to Serve God Forever ***Bible prophecies show that God views such ones as marked to survive the execution of his judgment soon to come upon this wicked system of things. (Ezekiel 9:1-6; Malachi 3:16, 18) Are you "rightly disposed for everlasting life"? (Acts 13:48) Is it your earnest desire to be marked as one serving God? Dedication and baptism are part of that mark, and they are essential for survival.

*** w82 2/15 p. 31 par. 18 "What Prevents Me from Getting Baptized?" ***Just ahead the separating of the "sheep" from the "goats" will come to a conclusion. None will be left on middle ground when God brings the "great tribulation" to sweep away "those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus." (Matthew 25:31-46; 2 Thessalonians 1:6-9) Only those ‘marked’ for salvation will survive into his new order. (Revelation 7:3, 4, 9, 14; Ezekiel 9:2-6) How happy will be those who have submitted to this ‘marking’ for survival because of being accepted into a dedicated relationship with Jehovah God, as symbolized by water baptism, and continuing in integrity on the narrow road that leads to life!—Matthew 7:13, 14.

Glad to see they're sticking with the "marked for survival" doctrine. While the WTS tries really hard not to put it in writing that only JWs have a chance at surviving the Great Tribulation, their interpretation of Ezekiel 9 makes it crystal clear. You MUST have "The Mark" and The Mark includes being a dedicated, baptized JW. If you don't have The Mark, then, according to the WTS, you will be killed at Armageddon. (though I think there's a loophole for children of JW parents who haven't yet reached "the age of accountability")

I've always felt that this topic is one of the grayest areas for JW beliefs. They never want to come out and say that non-JWs are going to die. It's almost impossible to understand what their stance on it is.

My favorite field service moment was at the door with a brother whose faith was and is unshakable. After ten or fifteen minutes of conversation about Armageddon, the householder says, "So you're telling me that only Jehovah's Witnesses are going to survive Armageddon?" The brother wouldn't give in. He skirted the subject with replies like, "The Bible says that only those with an accurate Bible knowledge and who have faith in Jesus Christ will survive Armageddon." So of course, the man replied with his previous question, and their conversation went in circles for about four and half hours. It was beyond embarrassing. I was standing there hoping that the brother would just say, "Alright already, it's true. Jehovah's witnesses are the only ones who will survive!" But that never happens. Score another one for the truth. Pathetic.

I think this is a real chink in the spiritual armor of Jehovah's Witnesses. Most of them don't believe this teaching in any way shape or form. Yet the teaching is still in force no new light yet.

This is a good example of cognitive dissonance in all it's glory. I even had a prominent elder admit to me he didn't believe that every one other then Jdubs were getting killed at Armageddon.
