Well she followed me along to my room & in a loud voice yelled at me "WE HAVE TO ABIDE BY THE RULES MARY IS WRONG!!!!!Well you all know by now I dont take kindly to "BOSSES" & I said " How dare you talk to me like this I pay $ 2,400.oo A month & even though you think I am an imbecile ,you must still treat me with respect. I see they are advertising in the paper for a nurse for this home I just hope it is to replace you" She laughed loudly said "GOOD LUCK GIRL I aint leaving!"So I reported her to the administration !!!!! Guess what??? So many of the workers have come to thank me they were afraid of her. They all say she is a BITCH!!!!
First of all, no one named 'Mary' could ever be wrong. Second of all, she most certainly sounds like a miserable beotch and I am so glad you reported her Grace. Alot of people don't know this, but every time there is a complaint about an employee (either by a fellow employee or a resident), it has to be reported to head office. I know this soley because one of my best friends' runs a retirement home. She's having trouble with her head nurse right now, who is (literally) harassing another staff member needlessly. It's gotten really nasty and my girlfriend is on the verge of firing this miserable bitch, but she has to go through all the right channels first. So your complaint will most definetely be noted there.

The owners live in Aruba & California....The administrator called Mary in & apologized to her for that horrible behavior

I'm glad to hear you're getting out of there! If that bitch nurse treats you, who will speak up for herself, so badly, I can't imagine how she treats the timid residents. She should be fired. The more I think about it, the more pissed off I become. I have an in law who is a head nurse of the critical care unit at a hospital, and she is very calm and soft spoken. I can't imagine her yelling at her underling nurses or patients.
