Yes, one must work harder to get free working observant slaves pushing are bullshitting literature to the public.
You people are obviously ignorant of what the conniving WTS. has done so we don't have to worry about you.

If he said they now have 7 million, and if the kids came back, we'd have 14 million, he is saying that ONE HALF of all J.W.'s have left the cult.
That's pretty darn impressive!

7 million Apostates
Cool
In that case we're halfway there.
7 million Apostates
No way. Most either just fade away or are kicked out for "sins of the flesh". Based on my observations over the years, relatively few leave or are kicked out for apostasy. Apathy is a far greater threat than apostasy to the organization.
"Ain't no way in hell I would go back."
If they totally abandoned their entire theology and reworked everything from the ground up starting with Christ as the rightful cornerstone (i.e. they pulled a WWCOG) I might consider going back.
But then, if that actually happened, there wouldn't really be much of a "back" to go to. It wouldn't really be an "organization" anymore - certainly not in the current definition of "organization" which is currently worshipped - it would be more of a "fellowship" or even a (shudder) "church". But I could live with that.
" relatively few leave or are kicked out for apostasy."
Perhaps, but how many of the 7 million disfellowshipped still really, REALLY believe it's The Truth? If they still did, wouldn't a good percentage make a move towards reinstatement? Too many of them know the truth about The Truth.
That's what's important. Not outright "apostasy" per se.
Seems he was more concerned to get the number up so the borg can boast they have 14 million members than caring for the spirituality of these ones.
Spirituality ? as with a lot of the English language, i.e generation, the WT do not know the meaning of the word.
I think that a lot that have left are very vulnerable to being suckered back in. They may have found out that life away from the Borg is damn good, but if they do not get rid of the false idea that it is "The Truth", when in fact it is "The Lie" , they can easily be pulled back in by fear of the Big "A"
That is where we come in, the more we can show that it is what it is, an organization founded on lies, that does not stand up to ANY scrutiny, not least the comparison between what they teach and what the Bible Really teaches , to steal a phrase that they have used in the title of a book which proceeds to do nothing of the kind.
Unless people see that it is all totally WRONG they are in danger, please help them to be free, and happy, whenever you can.
Wobble
So........
.........7 million people are undergoing psychological abuse from their parents because they didn't join, or left, the watchtower cult.
That doesn't sound like anything to be proud of to me.
Psychological abuse hasn't resulted in me going back to the WT vomit either.
My family has questions to answer and I will headbutt them with those same questions over and over and over again until their cult leaders give them an honest answer to convey to me. Meanwhile, they just have to put up with an Apostate son that never lies to them so that they can legitimately slag him off.
Cheers
Chris
