I believe they are sick in the head - they project onto others what they themselves are like.
What are the governing body members (pun intended) doing while in an elevator all at once without a chaperone?
Is that why they have closed door secret meetings every week?
They think they can get inside everyone's thoughts and KNOW what they will do. They can do no such thing.

I was in an elevator with a witness and we didn't have a chaperone. No fornication went on cuz there wasn't enough time and we were to chicken to stop the elevator.

Yes people do act this way... sex deprived Jehovah's Witnesses! When you can't even kiss someone unless you are prepared to marry them makes you one sexually frustrated person.

Back in the 70s I used to be with a young sister, who was an elders daughter, going to a bible study some 20 miles away. Nothing ever happened! Yet I was told ten years ago that it was totally improper to pick an elderly sister up to take to the meeting, just the two of us, because everyone would think that sex would happen.

It all depends what kind of witnesses they are....
I can picture some on there knees praying for deliverance.
Others singing kingdom songs aloud.
I think very few would do what would come normal for most.
How could I forget .... playing bible trivia.

Perhaps a controlled study of the scenario would answer the question. It might involve video cameras.
Would this question be comparable to whether or not a tree falling in the woods with no one around would make a noise?

The last district assembly I attended had an elevator to the next floor. They had an elder assigned to take every trip--just in case something might happen.
