I think the MadJW is an active witness who is mad at the way things are run in the WT but realizes that it is run by imperfect people and is not afraid to lampoon all the stupid things that the WT says and does but MJW does believe that the basic teachings and bible stuff the WT teaches is correct. I think the MadJW is reacting like JC did when he lampooned the Jewish religion for all the ridiculous laws they burdened the people with.
What the MadJW does not realize is that the WTS will NEVER change. In fact they will get worse because all of mankinds organizations get less ethical as they get bigger and more powerful.
The madjw is mad because he/she has been wasting their entire life in an organization that is unethical, immoral, and pharasaic in nature.
Why is the MadJW here on this APOSTATE forum? That I don't know but we are happy they are here.

I have to disagree with the above. I have viewed MadJW as a troll from the first posts, and am not at all convinced he is really an active JW.
I think he is here to troll around for childish fun and try to promote his unseen blogsite.

At risk of sounding a bit like "Dr. Phil," I have a soft spot in my heart for MadJW, because I see some of myself in him. Not too many years ago, I would have said many of the same things he does.
If you boil down MadJW's posts to once central point, that point is "yeah, the JWs have some crazy stuff, but they're not as bad as Christendom." That sort of rationalization is what kept me limping along in the WTS for years. Eventually, my brain started working and I realized that my whole reason for staying a JW was based on a logical fallacy, namely a false choice.
MadJW's reasoning is one logical fallacy after another. But it's not his fault, it's the fault of the WTS. That's how they taught us to "reason." They taught us to change the subject, set up strawman arguments, and set up false choices. Eventually some of us see through the nonsense, and I'm certainly grateful that I finally did.

It is all just part of his journey out......
He is a convert.
He isn't ready to accept that his investment in the WTS has been just one big pyramid scheme.......big promises for his dedication and allegiances, little to no payouts in a loving brotherhood, spiritual paradise, or the arrival of the NewSystem.
