Tornado sirens going off (page 2)

The last time that I heard the "sound of the train", the sirens didn't go off. I did have a basement then. Me and the family hauled azz to the basement. When it was over, trees had been uprooted everywhere by my home and a few blocks down some homes were damaged badly. The weather service said that it wasn't a tornado that it was a "gustanado". Whichever, I don't take any chances!

Thanks everyone! I have the news channel on TV now. The TV is still on so that's a good sign.

We've gotten the "all clear" from the Storm Center for now. So, I guess I'm safe for now. It's tornado season round here. It'll, probably, be more siren going off throughout the season. I'll try not to mention it every time they do go off.

MsD, I work at a law office in downtown KC MO. I live close to the Missouri River, about 20 miles north in a little, scenic town (damn the bloody tourists!) along the KS/MO border. If you ever go east, drop in for tea. I'll show you around. KC has some interesting sights.

In Canada when we see a Tornado..We throw a Canadian Beer into it..

First you hear a really loud Burp..

Then the Tornado dies..

Theres nothing in Canada..That can`t be solve with a Beer..
