Looks like your getting the storm that hit us the other day, 12 tornado's and over 30 warnings. Pretty close to my house. But it is the season after all. Be safe!
Tornado sirens going off

I think your storms must be headed my way in the next few days. The local news just said that we're in for severe weather. We had a tornado touch down just a few miles from our house last Friday night, but it didn't do any damage. The small city that I live in was devastated by an F5 tornado in 1985, so everyone here is pretty vigilant in storm spotting. GAWD, I hate spring!

But it is the season after all.
First, I'm VERY glad to see everyone's okay (may you all have peace!). Regarding the "seasons" (i.e., tornado, hurricane, heatwave, flood, snow storm, etc., I have to say I always wonder about that... especially when I meet folks/talk to relatives from "back east"... or the midwest... who ask me how I can live in California "with all them earthquakes."
We don't have earthquake "season" out here. Sure, we have tremors from time to time, but the "big ones" are really far and few between. The last decent one here Northern Cal was the Loma Prieta in 1989 (62 people died; however, MOST of those were due to the very poor condition of the Nimitz Freeway and eastern span of the Bay Bridge... which they are STILL rebuilding, BTW! And folks wonder why Cali's going broke. I don't think anyone's really LOOKED at the bill for that project. WHERE does it take 21 YEARS to build a bridge???).
Personally, I "shiver" for those who experience sirens, etc. I mean, that would really work my nerves (the "everyone get ready, it's comin', it's comin', it's... uh, nope, it ain't comin'" etc. thing).
Earthquakes vs. "seasons"? I'll take my chances with the quakes. They're not always fun, but they usually only result in broken stuff IN the house... and not so much the house... or the people in the house.
Again, peace and I'm glad folks are okay!
