why (unless the translation is wrong and need a better one), would some scriptures and books in the bible, inspired by that God, also accuse/expose him too?

What if it wasnt inspired by God? Have you considered that? Did you read Terry's post or just skipped it? THERE ARE NO ORIGINALS. ZERO! have you researched that? is just fluff based on hearsay of which we dont have full record either.

If you are sincere in your research, extend your sincerity researching the bible itself.

    Hello EndofMysteries,

Don't be like the pharisees and many others like them.

    John 5:39-40 (New International Version)

39 You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, 40 yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

    John 14:6 (New International Version)

6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

    John 1:17 (New International Version)

17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

There is One teacher, ask Him.

    John 15:26 (New International Version)

26 "When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.

    John 14:26 (New International Version)

26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

1 Corinthians 2:14 (New International Version)

14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

    Blessings,

    Stephen

EOM, no offense, but why don't you just go volunteer at a soup kitchen or something, because you're just wasting your time studying this shit.

EOM, the only suggestion I have is to read the NT first and formost and THEN read the OT, it may clear somethings up.

In the end, we have to realize that, while the Bible CAN be a great tool to help us to TRY tounderstand God, itis only a tool and that the truth path top God, for a Christian, is Jesus and the HS.

    Jesus and the HS

Is that a band? Jesus and Hot Spares? Jesus and Hell Screamers? Jesus and the Hot Shits? Jesus and the Heat Seekers?

I like how Tim (Tuesday) put it in one of his videos. Paraphrasing:

You're looking at a translation that could be wrong, of a copy that could be wrong, of another copy that could be wrong, of a document that could be wrong, of an oral tradition that could be wrong.

And people presume to use the word "truth" when discussing its contents. Brilliant.

EOM - I've been where you are, and done what you've done. Perhaps not to so much detail, mind you. But I learned, and I did what Stephen (Chalam) spoke about in the above post.

Don't assume that truth and life lies in the scriptures. Neither does. They can help, they are certainly interesting and they can be very exciting. But they do not replace the actual Word of God - Jesus.

You don't need to know the mysteries of the bible. You only need to put your trust in Christ. Peace and joy will come to you - and you'll be able to view scriptures with more clarity.

I have my parents with me this week, so I'm unable to be on here much until next week. I don't care too much about end of days/armageddon anymore. If we're acting in faith and love, then the date of the end should not matter! But I would be more than happy to discuss any of my understandings on what I think are important at that time, if you choose. If not, I understand, and I hope the best for you in your own personal studies.

No, I'm reading "The Atheist's Book of Bible Stories" written by one of the posters on this board. It's great stuff!
