The study was comparing people who were 25 or 40 pounds (I forget the actual number) with those who underweight by the same amount. A man at 200 pounds is going to be healthier than one, with a similar frame, that is 120.
I'm wonderin' if fat/overweight people...

When I was younger, I had this friend that was "fat". That girl could do the splits, cart wheels, jump spread eagle, etc.. . My mouth just hung open. I wasn't fat at that time; but I couldn't do none of that!
Edited to add: She could bounce like a ball. She was so energetic!

I know exactly what you mean. Too much over and too much under your ideal weight for your hight, bone, and muscle mass equals unhealthy.
I don't see fat people or skinny people. I see healthy and unhealthy people.
I see people that have "I don't care if I'm gonna die early in life from diabetes, cancer, heart disease, etc." plastered all over them.
I see people that have "I take care of my body and want to try to live a long, productive, and healthy life from eating responsibly, exercising, and not indulging in vices like smoking and drinking too much" plastered all over them.

My JW grandmother is around 400 lbs. When she's not at meetings, she sits at home in her rocking chair (even sleeps in it) with the TV on and hates everybody. She's outliving us all out of spite.
