I have never done it and I would not do it ever. The reason why I am asking all of you is because I am shocked that one of my classy facebook friends admitted making prank phone calls in the past.
Have you ever made prank phone calls?

Heck yeah! Me and my friends used to love making prank calls. That was back in the day before *69 and caller id. Technology ruined that fun- not that I would do such things now.
We also played hotel pranks too.

No but I've recieved a few. It's very un-nerving to get one and also very childish to make one.

If you are not a kid, it's called stalking/harrassment.

Once in Jr High.........before caller ID or *69.
......Refrigerator running schtick...... I know lame, lame, lame
(I was under the influence of 'worldly kids')

Curious how old was this 'classy friend' when the offense(s) occurred?
I mean, surely you did some 'dumbass' or 'naughty' things when you were a child.........(not that prank calling was a do-able option for you)

I think that was about the "worst" thing I ever did as a JW child. (Also before technology advances) My friend and I called the house of the boy behind us, and when his mom answered the phone we flushed the toilet and then hung up. We laughed about that for weeks. I think I was just as proud that my mom was in the house, and didn't know what we were doing. I thought we were so sneaky.
I agree, it is really childish, but, you know what? We were children at the time. I can't remember exactly how old, but it was either 5th or 6th grade.

Called the bowling alleys - if a guy picked up the phone we asked if he had 10 pound balls . . . .
You do? How do you walk with those things?
Not sure who thought it was funnier - the guy on the other end or us girls!
Oh the things we do as a kid . . .

Ohhhh yea, my cousins and I. We were good. Fun stuff. Again though, that was years ago, no internet or *69, nothing scary.

Yeah, I was really bad about that for a while, and I am not proud.

Yes, of course, we were kids. We actually did the, "Do you have Prince Albert in a can?" joke. Know how we caught? Because we were on a partyline and the girl next door told on us. She was mad because she couldn't get on the phone and gossip because we were using the line for pranking.
It was an old black rotary phone that hung on the kitchen wall. WAY before *69.
