You know.......class is rarely a natural trait, rather it is one learned through nurture.
Have you ever made prank phone calls?

You betcha! When I was 11 I was the bestest 900# caller in town...until I tried it on the cops. They DID have a *69 program. Busted but good for that.

White Dove, did you pay for the crime of pranking the cops?

yknot, the classy lady admitted making prank phone calls on her "list of things I have done" section on fb. It does not say when she did that, I would think she did it long time ago, but not recently I strongly doubt it. I have known her since 2003.

I was 11 and crying my eyes out for getting caught and making my mom cry and my dad not trust me. So no, cops didn't make me pay. I did, however, lose my phone privileges for 2 months.

Getting caught was one of the scariest things that has ever happened to me. I was reformed instantly.

I never called the cops. We mostly called boys and hung up. For some reason we called abortion clinics to enquire about services, dont ask me why. We also left crazy messages on peoples answering machines.

Called boys yes! Called strangers in the phone book, and gave them a hell of a time yes!
Does anyone use a phone book these days?

yup but only on people i knew , pretended to be from a water company checking water standards, had them flushing their toilets and running the taps to see if their water had turned yellow or smelt of wee.

Nowadays, 'phone pranking' has morphed into those unsolicited phone calls that everyone gets in the evening just as you take that first bite of food.
{foghorn sound} "This is your captain speaking..." {...more drivel about you 'winning' a cruise, all you have to do is...}
Actually... in the past... I didn't ever 'prank' someone by dialing them, but DID prank a newspaper salescall-person, who was trying to get me to sign up for the local paper. I had gotten so tired of telling them 'no' - which they didn't seem to understand, that I finally started telling them that I couldn't read English. That pretty much stopped the conversation.
