You have highlighted their double standard. If you identify yourself as being a non-Witness, you can wear whatever you'd like while on the tour.

That dude from Africa looks like he is wearing a dress. If a kilt is OK for Royalty, it should be OK for a Bethel tour.- Don't forget the tie, you have to wear a tie and jacket. And a purse, that looks OK, too.

St George of England
A copy of this has been on our KH notice board for the last couple of years or so. When it arrived there was a Service Meeting item on it and an urgent message the following meeting for it to be returned. Someone had 'borrowed' it.
Interestly there has never been a Bethel Tour from the cong during this time, just no interest apparently. (Or should that be evidently)

I can confirm that this is pinned to the notice board at our hall.

Yeah, this issue apparently irritates a lot of people, both ex-JW and JW...
Here's an extensive discussion of the same issue, from a year ago...
Whoops! Never mind! Somebody else already posted the link...

BabyGirl30 said, "Dude went so far as to tell her IN FRONT OF OF US, that she could not use tampons because he didn't want anything up 'there' until they were married. What the??????????????..."
Honey, I would have looked at him and asked, "What?? Isn't your peenie weenie any bigger than a tampon??"

So, what's the deal with a denim skirt? Why is that objectionable?
