It show a man holding a cd and it says that you have to buy the original one because it's immoral to use copied programmes,movies,games etc.Tell me ONE jw who is not immoral when it come's to this because I don't know anyone.

JWs who use Open Source - Like Linux, the Gimp, Firefox, DigiKam, GnuCash, OpenOffice and so forth...

Believe me, there are a couple of ones... I was one.

On the other hand, like stated above... the big majority simply do not care. Specially in third world countries.

that's why i started with: JWs that use Open Source and so on... Meaning, not all JWs and, for that matter, not all computer users are inmoral in that aspect. There is a big community of opensource users that don't copy copyrighted software because they have and use alternatives.

I'm sure that's the overall intent. But they counsel everyone on obeying copyright laws...even down to that CD of the Monkee's greatest hits that you bought at the used record store.

If they can impress on all the dubbies that stealing from the Monkees is bad, then it must be even worse to steal from Jehovah's Organization.

I have a different take on it: "Don't buy music/DVDs/Software". Follow my thoughts: Using pirated versions is immoral, therefore you should really buy originals, but spending money on products of questionable moral quality is discouraged, not to mention that the money spent can be contributed to the worldwide works instead and the time spent watching/listening can be used better in the FM. Make sense?
