You sound like your beliefs are a mix of Dispensationalism (144,000 literal Jews) and Evangelicalism, christian theology is a very broad spectrum of ideas and suppositions. You're here never having been a Jehovah's Witness like a few others from the Fundamentalist world of beliefs.

To a Witness regarding Bible translation they are similar to the LDS who believe it needs to be translated correctly ie to suit their doctrines, but that's similar to many groups like the Catholics and Protestants who translated the Bible to suit their particluar beliefs as well. Read the footnotes to the Jerusalem Bible sometime on the passages that were added from common hymns and slogans and christian prose of the day.

To understand the Bible Student Associates and Jehovah's Witnesses view of Christ's Blood you should read CTRussell's vol. The Atonement and Rutherford's and Franz's book Riches. You will quickly see the connection to John Calvin's writings on 'Election of the Elect', and the Catholic Church's solteriology and the practice of penance. Martin Luther started the Reformed view of foregiveness which was similar to St Augustine's.

It is one reason why you will hear a Witness quote James and a Evangelical Lutheran rarely does, Luther thought it should not be in the Bible. See how it works, every group has their preferences and edits the good book accordingly.

They teach that only 144,000 Christians would ever go to heaven. And most of them are already dead. And all those still alive are JWs.

However, a recent phenomenon is occurring. This number of partakers is increasing. It should be decreasing if what they believe and teach is correct (that most of the annointed are already dead and in heaven).

Hello design

I do not read into the truth with my own religious philosophy, but with revelation with the Holy Spirit and the bible as my final authority to know what the bible is teaching not taking any side except the truth, and where facts comes from!

I just keep the scriptures in contexts and I seen it was the Jew the i144.000 and the bible made that simple and very clear, even though I am not a jew as such!

Again I use the Holy Spirit and trust Him alone with no other man made news papers or books to interpretate the bible for me.

I let my born again spirit bear record of the truth and it says amen as I read the bible everytime with more deeper revelations and truth!

I guess this is why I can teach and disicple others to the truth because of the truth I have in me and me in the truth of Christ who is the truth , the way and my life, not my religion or any society!

For me I believe all cannolized bible have the contents of the truth but many bible are not holding the true original bible inspired word of God like Koran, book of Mormons the JHW NT and some of the Catholic books in thier bible!

So again does the JHW see also the blood of Jesus is the only thing which made them right with Jehovah God, and we need to give all thanks and worship to Jesus for this??

wannabefree also thank you for that link, and this is why I am asking these questions because the Holy Spirit is telling me to shows these questions on tv and teach the errors about the blood of Jesus, grace, thee trinity, and the misunderstanding of the good gospel and about we being free from all sins , past ,present and all future sins which is all too good news of the christian gospel!

If we don't teach and tell people about the blood of Jesus and what it did 2000 years ago and about the grace of God which is like telling God is love and well as God is grace we are only bringing a religious doctrine like a sales man selling a new vaccum cleaner or being a indian trying to get more sculps!

BTW we do have all different levels is understanding even though we are directed by the same Holy Spirit , and that is why we have different denominations and different callings.

We are commanded to pray to Jesus but i think the JHW is popular in being disobedient against the bible teaching, but sense the WT books from their society has final authority can now see why and understand their deceptions better!

we are to pray to Jesus :John 14:13,14, eph 5:19, acts 8:24 2 cor 12:7-9 three times prayer to Jesus from the apostle !

How can the JHW not see these bible verses and be obedienece if they are tryin to love Jesus and Jehovah unless they really don'T???

I have to say, as a Kingdom Hall attending baptized witness who has come to recognize the faith is not the "Truth", most answers to evangelist's questions are not completely reflective of what Witnesses believe.

Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe theirs is the only acceptable Bible translation, they don't believe the shed blood of Jesus applies only to the 144,000, these are answers that are not in context. Right or wrong in what they teach, the answers are much more compicated than what is presented here.

Like a few other Fundamentalists who come trapesting through here claiming HS as their guide, you should realize that what you are spouting is all regurgitated Reformed/Fundamentalist theology with a dash of Dispensationalism thrown in for good measure. What's the count up to know 1500 christian denominations all claiming the HS as their guide but all having different views.

This statement shows that a big part of the problem with being a Jehovah's Witness is the ever changing doctrines and what is the 'current' teaching. The Watchtower flips back and forth over the years and leave all JWs spinning around and around.

The JWs believe in prayer only to Jehovah. How then do they follow Matthew 11:28-30?

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. -- KJV

Christ is no longer a physical being but a spiritual one. How does one 'come to' a spiritual being?

I see these 2 sets of scriptures as 2 separate things. The ones stated by wannabefree, are about how to pray to God. I see Matthew 28-30 as having a relationship with Christ. And since Christ is a spirit being, prayer is the only method of communication.
