I am going to the Doctor today because of a strange 'rash' mark on my arm . Two weeks ago we were pulling out an old bush in the bakyard when i felt something poke or bite me on the arm . I just shook my sleeve out and kept working ,then the next day I notice this red ring like rash that is clear in the middle about the size of a quarter . I thought it looked like a ringworm type mark ,but it doesn't itch and it isn't raised . I kind of just ignored it ,but then this past week I keep getting slight flu like symptoms ...nausea ,headache , just not feeling well . So I look up rashes and Lyme disease rash came up and looks very much like what I have ......

Any one else have experience with either Lyme or Ringworm ? Do the rashes itch with either one ?

no, but My Dad does have one. You might want to buy the thick healthy healing book, it tells you what to eat and what supplements to take for your condition. www.healthyhealing.com

Lyme's disease can take several months to recover. If it is ringworm, a spray for foot fungus will relieve the itching in about a day and will clear it up within a week.

It could be a spider or some other insect bite.

troubled mind.....with the type of work I do for a living I deal with a lot of ticks and insects. Over the years I've had numerous ticks on me. With my experience I've never actually felt the tick bite or attach itself to me. Usually it was more like..."Hey, I never knew I had a mole there" then upon further inspection I notice that mole is actually a tick! The little buggers are quite sneaky. Goint to the Doctor is the smartest thing. Good Luck!

I had lyme's disease back in 85. One of the first confirmed cases in texas. (I was bit by a tick in missouri) It took them 3 months to figure out what was wrong. In the time, I became very sick. I had a small baby, and had to move back home with my dad and stepdad, so they could help me care for her. I ran high fevers, and short term memory loss, and other things. I did have a rash, that had spread.

It took a couple weeks in the hospital, and a couple months of antibiotics. Back then, it was pretty new.

Please go to the dr. It could be several things. But, if it is, you need to get on antibiotics right away!

Well the Doctor doesn't think it is a tick bite , but rather 'a fungus among us '. He said it is most likely ringworm so he gave me pills and an ointment .

Troubled mind, that is what they told my daughter. Drs in Missouri are not equipped to handle Lyme disease. My daughter had to insist on a test and they found out that way. Because it took them so long to diagnose her it has been almost a year and two out of state dr visits to get her back on her feet. She has been on various antibiotics for a year. I will find out the name of the test and com eback here with it.

She has been bedridden at times because she is so tired. Each month now she is getting a little better . She is up and around a lot now but still gets tired after a while and has to 'nap".

She got her tick bite while riding her horse in OFallon Missouri.
