wasn't very keen, we were at our book study when we were kids and the old brother and sister who hosted it had their son staying , he was a MS I believe from another cong , my father asked if he would like to close in prayer and he refused!

Some of you must have been talented public speakers!
I loved listening to men pray....... real prayers.
I hated Slave Sales Pitch prayers.......reminded me of creature worship or Matt 6.
Don't you boys know some JWgal was probably listening and enjoy the deepness of your voice (or intensity by hearing impaired Brothers) and discerning the words you chose to express yourself while appearing to take the lead ......
I bet if you knew some gals panties were getting wet you would have appreciated your 'privilege' a little more.........

I loved giving Public Talks but hated being chairman. I really despised saying public prayers.
