Actually beks we have a strict building code for earthquakes. While we aren't on a fault we are on top of two shifting teutonic plates. They moved.

Didn't feel it even though some people felt it in our area. How many people have earthquake coverage on their home? I decided several years ago to spend the extra $100/yr just in case. I remember two years ago waking up at 5:30 a.m. with my bed shaking. I've mentioned earthquake insurance to several of my friends and they don't think they need it. My insurance agent says she has very few people with the coverage.
