First of all you need to know who you were following, this is what i have asked myself.

others here have ask it too, If their spiritual food is from Jehovah, then why is it wrong so often?

Jehovah is a perfect God who cannot lie, so why is he giving them false info? even if he gives it gradually it wouldn't be wrong.

Sept 2010 watchtower, Page 13 paragraph 8 says their food is From Jehovah

Dueteronomy 18: 21-22 tells how to spot a false prophet

in the" Reasoning from the Scriptures" book under the heading of false prophets they deliberately leave this scripture out of that whole section

why ? because it describes them.

there's a difference between advancing light and transforming light. the devil transforms himself into an angel of light.

They want you to follow them blindly, but the Bible incourages asking, seeking and testing with no reaproach from the most high.

try asking testing and seeking with them. you will be punished

I fully agree with Mad Sweeny.....

Dj Supa Wit, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE, ANYWAY? Expert at scolding but not taking to heart GBs council!!! TYPICAL HYPOCRITE!!!

First off Daringhart with all the guilt pounding of the WTS.....what a mind *F..K*....so abusive....so OT!

I faded too...then later got dfd! The only reason I got DFd was because I made a stance not to be forced to repent! True! I told them I wasn't going to repent just on the fact they were trying to muscling me into it! I told them I was not going to stand before god and repent right at that very moment because they were pressuring me to. I was going to do it when I was ready, not out of fear of being destroyed! They would have rather me lied to keep me from being Dfd! True! And guess what happened next? One of the elders who dfd me later got busted for embezzlement!!

I've been away for many years now and God has been with me EVERY TIME i've needed him! I still pray. I believe in God and the historical Christ. I'm not into religion but I consider myself spiritual. I thank him almost everyday for just the breath I'm happy to breathe and the wind against my face. Life is huge!! And when I die...I will be spirit and Life is Huge, once more.

Have you seen any of Ray Franz Youtube videos? He continued to have a relationship with God and Christ til the day he passed over.....

I want to thank everyone........very, very much. Having a bad weekend.......and it really lifts my spirits to see so many people willing to encourage me.

djeggnog......I appreciate your motive. In the true spirit of Christ, I'm going to see that you truly believe you're doing a kind thing....and appreciate that you would take the time to do it..... However my dear friend, your have been fooled. I was too......and gave my soul to the organization. Trust me.....I was all the way in........ please examine what clearly is in conflict with God's Word.

To each of the GREAT, fun, people here......I really appreciate your love right now. I'm going to go back and reread each post.....look up the scriptures....... I feel like Elijah after the test on Mt. Carmel......I know whats right..... but now I'm just running around in the wilderness.

    Welcome daringhart13!

Ugh.....having a crappy morning I guess...... just feel like I want to talk to God, but can't.

Who's stopping you? Just forget all that "jehovah" nonsense and call Him "Father" or something similar :)

That's is what He likes Matthew 6:9

Here's a few verses for you

    Galatians 3:26-28 (New International Version)

    Sons of God
26 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

    Ephesians 4:4-6 (New International Version)

4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

    Romans 8:8-11 (New International Version)

8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.

9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

    Blessings,

    Stephen

Holidays too can be a bit challenging for anyone if you're single. That's NORMAL for many. You may think about finding a community through art, music, hobby, a class... whatever fancies you......that's how I found many of my new friends.

It's also easy to get too focused, obsessed with certain things....if you don't have other things going on in one's life. That's normal too.

Our friend, I hope you can find a bit of joy this weekend......you can find it in the smallest things...

the Last time i had a shepherding call, i was ask "did i think that i would be wrapped in Gods love

if i didn't listen to the faithful and discreet slave"

I replied, God loved me long before i knew how to love myself. And he still loves me right now

Your feelings are natural and normal. You have left a religion that distances you from God and puts so many rules in place that you are constantly feeling inadequate and unworthy. You are actually going through a bereavement and the process can't be hurried.

There is a simple line that says you are closer to god in a garden then anywhere else on Earth. I find that to be true, near where I live there is an arboretum and I find it a peaceful place to visit and collect my thoughts. Just taking a deep breath and expressing appreciation for the place is good enough to begin with. Find somewhere still and peaceful, a garden, a beach, a hill top and don't force it. I don't know yet if there is a being out there but I allow myself the possibility to believe there might be.

If you believe there is a loving God then he loves you enough to give you the time you need. It says in the Bible that if you draw close to him he will draw close to you. This implies that every step you make towards him brings him closer to you. There is no awful deadline looming there is just the time you need.
