I have read this before but I thought it was a parody. Can't believe they actually printed that vile, hateful bile.

And they claim not to separate families.

I wonder if whoever wrote that "answer" is still alive?

So basically, too bad such laws are in place or else we would stone our apostate fleshly family members to death!

It goes hand-in-hand with this gem:

    The Watchtower, July 15, 1961, page 420:

"Jesus encouraged his followers to love their enemies, but God's Word also says to "hate what is bad." When a person persists in a way of badness after knowing what is right, when the bad becomes so ingrained that it is an inseparable part of his make-up, then in order to hate what is bad a Christian must hate the person with whom the badness is inseparably linked."
The Watchtower Society's message is clear. Despite Jesus' teaching to love your enemy, the principle to hate what is bad must be followed to a superlative degree. It is not just to hate what a person has done, but to hate the person. Just love these cult-like teachings!

The law of the land and God’s law through Christ forbid us to kill apostates, even though they be members of our own flesh-and-blood family relationship.

One more evidence that JWs are not "moral" people. The only reason they don't murder us is because of personal consequences they would suffer as a result.

The purpose of disfellowshipping has nothing to do with the one disfellowshipped.

Shunning isn't to shame the person to come back to the fold (though that is sometimes a by-product). Shunning is to keep those IN, those under the mind control, from access to Information and Emotions that could influence their Thoughts and Behavior toward getting OUT.

I had to read that comment three times, and I'm just dumbfounded.

They literally put the thought in a followers head that killing a family member who no longer beieves their religion is worthy of death ?

The marriage partner would render the marriage dues according to the law of the land and in due payment for all material benefits bestowed and accepted.

I love this statement, also. The JW mate (I am sure they were particularly addressing the wife) should 'prostitute' themself with the unbelieving mate. Exchange the marital due (sex) for material benefits (money).

It is a shocking article for them to have printed, but if it were to be shown to any Witness I am sure they would point out that it was written some 58 years ago.

The more recent stuff says the same, in principle, but not in such an inflammatory manner

They cry apostasy yet they don't care if they leave God - just don't leave the organization. The article highlights that they wish they had the ability to tell family members to kill their own apostate members. They want to silence opposition forever so they don't lose $. SICK.

They are the ones who are Satanic, hateful and evil.

I couldn't agree more. The whole thing fills me with horror. Even if armageddon was coming next week and I knew JWs were to be the only survivors I would rather die than survive to live in a world where the Watchtower Society were free to do as they please to anybody with no laws preventing them. I don't think the rank and file realise what their lives could be like under the rule of their precious GB without the protection of the laws of the land that exist in this 'wicked' system.
