  Bane claims that he is using the authority given him by the Bible by coming here. For instance, he has claimed the following:

  "I haven´t acted in any way that the bible doesn´t give me power to. Jesus called the apostates vipers and snakes. I do the same. Are you saying I shouldn´t follow my lord? So there. I never want that point EVER AGAIN to be talked to of me because I just defeated it with a scriptural example. The sly apostate way has been pulled on me before but I always defeat it with that example and it drives the apostates crazy! HAHA..."

  Matt 23:1Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 2 “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3 So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.

  Jesus said to do what they say, not what they do. Sounds more like hypocrites- just like you Bane...but nowhere did Jesus call them apostates. And the WT nowhere calls them apostates. So the question again:

  Why do you claim to support and believe wholeheartedly in the governing body and yet disregard their counsel on visiting 'apostate sites"

  That is total BS. Bane if the bible gives you the power to come here then please PM me your congregation and I can supply your BOE this link for them to see your posts. You should have no problem since they would not mind, right?

  Bane, got defeated by scripture, eh? The 'apostates' must really drive you crazy. LOL

  Curiosbutterfly, Bane is not a Witness. He doesn't even know what BOE means. He thought it was an apostate saying on another thread.

  Bane, the bible character Jesus was only calling Pharisaic men vipers. He never referred to any sinful people as such. In fact, if anything, the biblical Jesus was more geared towards freeing those oppressed by religious leaders. You're surrounded on this forum by many who are no longer oppressed by religious power. The biblical Jesus forgave an adulterating whore that was about to be stoned to death, remember? Under the Pharisaic law, she was to be stoned according to Jesus' father's wishes. The very people that Jesus referred to as vipers were only trying to follow strict legalistic code. That's exactly what you and every other Jehovah's Witness does.

  If anything, JW's should be constantly knocking on doors in drug neighborhoods, ghettos, and jails. They need not bother those of us with well established bank accounts, faithful wives and paid mortgages.

  Then why does he refute everyone here? He/she is a little nuts then. I do not know anyone who is a JW (former or current) who does not know what BOE is. By Bane saying he can come to this site is laughable if he is a JW.
