According to what appeared in written newspapers and that we can add up, the real number of people who assisted the summer district assemblies in the province of Quebec, Canada is : 13 500.

    Assembly at Quebec city: 7000
    1st assembly at Sherbrooke : 3500
    2nd assembly at Sherbrooke : 3000
    Total of 13500.

However, the JW's told the medias that they are more or less 23000 in Quebec! There is a difference of 9500 members!!!! Maybe they're including the inactive ones, which they are not supposed to do.......hypocrites!!! Sources : (french)

    Actual numbers: 13,500.

Number the witlesses are trying to force people to believe: 23,000

    Ratio of error: 13,500 / 23,000 = 0.587 (rounded to 3 decimal places)

Number of publishers the witlesses wants us to believe there are: 7.32 million

    Estimated number of publishers: 4,296,522

There are a lot of different numbers they throw around, as well as some they never do.

Their favorite is "peak" publishers, which is the absolute highest number reporting in a given period.

The most logical to use is "average" publishers, which they occasionally use but not very often.

They never report "minimum" publishers. I guess it could be figured out by looking at the month by month reports from each branch and calculating the lowest, but they don't toot that horn publicly.

Yeah, it's all propaganda....just like Scientology does apparently.

They never show how many left either, they only talk about how many were baptized. They never show their incomes either, it's well hidden.

I don't believe any numbers published by the Watchtower Society.

The Watchtower Society is a LIAR ORGANIZATION. (See this recent thread for examples of blatant lies published by the WTS.) I'm puzzled how anyone who understands this fact (which should include everyone here) could put any merit in the statistics published by the WTS...

For sure they manipulate the field service numbers (like talking non-preaching members into reporting a token 15 minutes) in order to claim as many publishers as they can.

I was wondering on those three Canadian assemblies if a good number of those people may have actually attended more than one, boosting the numbers even more.

"I was wondering on those three Canadian assemblies if a good number of those people may have actually attended more than one, boosting the numbers even more."

That's a good question...2 assemblies were 1 week apart at the same place in Sherbrooke city.
