I have turned down worldly ladies at work because I want to please Jehovah, two of them was gorgeous. One of them is on my fb., but she is married. Maybe I will talk to her again to see whats up with her life, who knows things can turn around, wait and see.

Quitting regular pioneering? Didn't you get a new car recently? You should put god's things first. - This coming from the elder with the new Lexus. And my "new "car, 4 years old, well within my means. Asshat. :)

FlyingHighNow, i'm glad your out, I see you know first hand the pressure they put on parents

what i hate about this religion is that they are so full of advice when it come to your children

dipping in matters that are none of their bussiness, and the first ones to turn their backs on you

when things get out of hand. I've seen this happen in the congregation, when they tried to

tell me what to do with my child , I politely told one sister, " If it ain't broke , don't fix it."

The worst (and best) advice I was given was the KM question box saying not to study the bible in independent groups. That made me want to find out what they are hiding.

I'm sorry I followed the counsel from the Watchtower and didn't go to college. I didn't even take my last few years of high school seriously. The end is so near, you know. And, no worldly men, I'm still single, thanks for nothing. I'd be better off with a worldly man, then end up with the weird brothers that go to my hall.

And then, the strangest personal counsel I got was from a sister about my disfellowshipped friend. This sister told me, it probably would be best to throw away anything my friend gave me, even a music tape she made me. Of course, I didn't, I still have it. It was the Smiths. I'm not throwing away good Morrissey music. If only I had a cassette player to play it on now.
