I don't see why not. You wouldn't buy a car without taking it out for a test run, would you? You wouldn't buy a house without examining it, would you? Why would you "buy" a marriage without testing it out first?

I think any Bible based religion is going to say no. I'm pretty sure the Muslims would also say no.

Fascist religions always say no to anything that has the potential to be fun. Apply that reasoning & you'll pretty much always guess correctly.
