Unless you're stupid and burn it, no such thing as a bad potato. Bake it, fry it, mash it, all good. Parmesan and garlic are good, also bacon bits, chives, and sour cream. Chili works too.

Ohhhh...here I go again; that hungry feeling!!!!
I love my potato baked, then cut in half and mashed in the centre with garlic, butter, sour cream and a little paprika....YUMM
Second choice would be mashed up with milk, a touch of cream, fresh ground pepper, butter and a good amount of parmisan cheese.
Shallots added to this are also a favorite variation....
