I'm a newbie in UK was JW in Glos in 70s- worked on Dudley Assembly hall (saw someone ask if there was anyone who remembered that) stumbled on this website would love to meet people to share a whole chunk of my young adulthood I have suppressed for years.

I actually love to hear accents and dialects, I don't know why but ladies who speak with a proper accent that is not the bland Southern English one I usually hear, seem to me to be far more sexy and attractive.
Mrs Phizzy makes me laugh, if she ever hears what is called a "Cut Glass" accent, as used by posh people, she always says "They weren't born talking like that" LOL
