I'm late on this, but it is funny that in the same sentence that they quote the Scripture "do not go beyond", they use a synonym for "go beyond" when they then say "by extension" to self-expand coverage to the F&DS .

And the way they twisted that from urging Jesus' followers to check what they are hearing with established scriptures into "Don't listen to ANY criticism of the Watchtower Organization..."
In harmony with John’s counsel, we always encourage those we meet in the preaching work to test what they have been taught by comparing it with the Bible. That is a good rule for us too. If any statements come to our ears that are critical of the truth or that cast aspersions on the congregation, the elders, or any of our brothers, we do not accept them at face value.
Yeahhhhhh, critical statements about the "truth™" don't need to be checked out against the bible. Neither should good little JWs look too closely at comments about rogue congregations, immoral elders, brothers who drink too much, are chronically depressed, beat their wives or even end up killing them...
