This is good news, designs and Justitia Themis, about the pursuit of further education. Excellent points, too, on the mind's and emotion's effect on our energy levels. I relate absolutely, though I do find that the body cannot keep up with the mind. Oh well!

All the best to you and yours!

CoCo,Like you getting older 65 years, getting tireder, getting poorer, slaved for the Watchtower for 33 years, no wages or pension from them, still in the work force trying to build a little nest egg until I'm 70. My wife is 70 now. So, it come down to this, Living in the "NOW."

Enjoying the moment, life, pets, walks, reading and always thinking about what will come next after the spark of life leaves this body.

    Thanks again, designs!

Oh yeah - strong coffee (all day long), but I haven't listened to The Doors in quite awhile. I can get them over the net. Appreciate the idea.

Good to see you again BB/Mall Cop.

Living in the moment is key, and we're doing it, aren't we? Sounds as though you and your mate are doing all right, but, of course, at our age, it is getting tougher physically. Be that as it may, I go with my body and, like you, rejoice in my blessings and not what I've lost.

You both have said some really encouraging things ...

    Gratefully,

No. Start the day with a few gentle exercises and try to walk whenever I can. Not much but it all helps I'm sure.

Since retiring I try to keep the brain working as much as possible. I do a short course (distance learning) each year to try and learn something new and different.
