Herd's qualifications are right up there with the rest of the new GB. Nibble the cracker, sip the wine, slave for the org., toe the line.
JR Brown is slick in a Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton kind of way. Very literate. Not trustworthy. Plenty of other whites like that in Bethel, but it's great for PR that he's black and can do it on camera. Otherwise, they have kept him officed up in Writing Correspondence at Patterson.

Ugh. J.R.Brown.
The talks for the last few memorials I attended in my own hall were given by him. What a circus. They had to pass out tickets for the meetings and the memorial because he had such a following, people would fly in from all over to hear his talks and overfill the capacity. We were used to having GB and Bethel speakers, but this was a first for me.
Now I ask you, why didn't he counsel the people crashing "our" meetings from doing so? It was "our" congregation that paid for his visit for the week, shouldn't we be able to enjoy (barf) his visit without worrying if we were going to have a seat? What a joke that was...he likes the attention and his "JW celebrity" status.
And he is slick like Jesse Jackson, condescending and arrogant. I love the video snippet when he was asked by the press something about the government, and I believe he said, "Jehovah's Witnesses LOVE their country." He's a piece of work that one. I think in the end he will end up doing the WTBS more harm than good, which as far as I'm concerned, is good on all counts.

Funny how "God's mouthpiece" (the GB) needs to hire spokespersons and lawyers. Remember when assholes like Rutherford at least had the balls to speak for themselves to the media?
