BTW, Beks, this is what Beck believes. You don't have to believe it. But it's what he believes and he has the right to express his beliefs. No one is being forced to listen to him. I doubt anyone at the rally today wasn't strongly religious.
This is what Beck pretends he believes. What he believes is anything that keeps him making millions off of dimwits. The point is, that this country was not based on christianity, so there is nothing to "get back" to.

Glenn has a unique style. He intentionally uses theatrics to add another layer of dimension to his message. If you don't get him and are not familiar with his methods of presentation, you might be put off by this.
He is also Christian and makes no apologies for it, although he doesn't constantly harp on it. He is fanatically interested in history and goes to the source rather than relying on commentary and modern day analyses. He's brilliant really. You don't have to buy everything he says hook line and sinker. On every show, he tells you to research these things yourself. Don't rely on him or any other commentator or pundit. "Do your homework" is his mantra.
Some people are so just so bigoted against anyone of faith (unless it's anything other than Christian-Judeo) that they are incapable of hearing or seeing anything beyond that ONE part of a person.
(Oh, BTW, Sarah Palin was stunning today!! Smart, beautiful, gracious, has a great sense of humor, and lets the insults and tacky comments just role off her back.)
