  Cuddle up to the Universe, Buddy. Work with it, and it will embrace you. No single man or woman, no group should eclipse that relationship.

  Think of it like a literal eclipse. The Earth needs the moon, to regulate the tides, gravity and a lot more besides. We too, need a mind-set, to regulate our lives - religion, perhaps.

  BUT, just as the moon can eclipse our view of the Sun and the life that it gives.... so our chosen mind-set (religion etc) can get in the way of our relationship with the giver of life.

  That creator made you the way you are. You are unique... warts and all. But that Universe and its creator will always embrace you. When you are out of tune with it... that is when it is time to feel uncomfortable.

  "... he will bring to ruin those ruining the earth..".... and will preserve those working in harmony with it (I assume).

  streets!: You forgot the intangible, electro-chemical stuff, that goes on in our brains - that is very spiritual and very human at the same time. Come on, half this board refers to JW's as mindless morons, members of the Borg (seems to be common parlance here). Surely you are not suggesting that MIB remains in that state, are you? Let MIB be his own man, in harmony with all that is right, and good and upbuilding.

  Podobear, I'm saying drop the quest for spirituality, it's a fool's errand. "Spirit" is an out-dated concept, mojo voodoo. Celebrate your humanity. You are human. Be kind to other humans (and animals, while you're at it).

  I have zero spirituality since leaving...no, even before i left.

  I am a Male Mammal.

  I am an animal, i may have a really cool brain but i still run on instinct.

  We are not spirit creatures, we are flesh and blood. This planet is our habitat and we have no need of another.

  The search for the spiritual is a quest of futility, began by deranged humans seeking a way to control other human animals.

  Spirituality is different for everyone, some live by sports , some need to belong to a group (religions, AA), some as esoteric tree huggers, Politics, Motorheads, the list can go on and on.

  At the end of the day your fully equipped with the capacity to make a choice and being kind to humanity and not judging them no matter what they choose to believe in is spirituality to me. We all go through "trials" and how we deal with it peacefully is how we make it through the "tribulation"

  Isn't kindness, a mark of Spirituality, streets? Again, you are confusing Spirituality and Religious god-slotting. Spirituality is an intrinsic part of being human... even if it is the brut force of the Alpha male dog, Designs. Being at peace with your Id is as important as feeding your physical self. Otherwise we would all be "sharks".. responding on impulse only.. constant, uncontrolled "knee-jerk" reactions.

  Nah, spirituality is a constantly refining process... no fools errand
