I may go out on a limb, but this is the best post response ever:

Alot of us are exercising our rights to freedom of thought and expression that have been denied us for so long in the org. We don't all have to agree on everything anymore. We can have different beliefs and opinions. Sometimes the things we say are not "seasoned with salt." We must never forget that although we do share a bond due to our cult experience, this is still the internet. You may get your feelings hurt.

Is it okay to post skepticism and disbelief in what people post (without violating posting rules)?
Is it okay to expect only warm, positive, supportive replies to comments on JWN?

Isn't the above statement this websites directive?

OTWO. Thanks. I have had to come to that realization myself. Seeing some of the interactions on the board, especially when it comes to the heated topics, and when hurtful things are said, I have to remember it's the internet. It's good training for being out in the world. I think for those of us who grew up JW and never spent time in the world, we are more prone to have our guard down and get hurt. I need reminders to not just bare my soul and expect positive experiences so I don't get eaten alive.
