By representing a "cause" which is imaginary I threw away my youth and wasted my time and didn't produce a productive thing at all for many years...( Terry )
How many of us struggle with THAT felling? I turned 60 in March, have to dig deep into my life to find anything that comes close to productive. As to finding it, I can't, it does not exist.
Stories like this are what show the true and real damage that groups like the JW's can do to a person...( PSacramento )
Giving body and soul to a cause, especialy one that can not be defended, is destructive. I feel, if a person is to apply faith in their life it must be faith in themselves. A person loses that faith when they become entangled in belief doing all the thinking for them. Awack, Polly got his cracker. The only cracker in town. You want a cracker? Get on Polly's treadmill, no faith in self, nor thinking required. Being productive in life is munch the cracker and turn the wheel. Someday, not important when, but someday will come, you will get a BIG cracker sit on a limb and molte. Don't worry about those who tired, left and stopped turing the wheel because they ran out of cracker. They count for nothing. You Polly have faith in the cracker and belief in the treadmill. Munch the cracker, turn the wheel and remember the BIG CRACKER that awaits you.
Faith, belief, what are they?
