She can read it and shake head yes or no.

I remember a few years ago when the New Beetle was still 'new'. That is, it was not as prevalent as it is now. I was driving around the Loop, and pull up alongside another New Beetle, the same color as mine (white). This cutie is driving it, and I smile broadly and wave. She sees a fellow New Beetle owner, smiles back and also waves. She was a stunning young lady. She exited the freeway, onto another freeway, and I looked back to see her looking back at me - as we continued on our respective ways.
Me thinking: Wow. A beautiful young lady.
Her thinking: Whew! If I hadn't exited the freeway, that creepy old geezer could've been stalking me all the way home.
Anyway... don't read too much into a flirtatous gesture at a stop light.
