The sad thing is, I guess we are the closest thing that Alice has to a friend, because if she had any real friends (like at the Kingdumb Hall where she claims she goes), she wouldn't be wasting her time on a board with 'apostates' who have made mincemeat out of her insane posts, while she perfects the art of cut-and-pastes on topics that she obviously knows nothing about.
# 1 scripture that Jehovah Witnesses avoid, when denying they are false prophets

"...JEHOVAH is a God of truth. He does not compromise with error . No crisis can panic him into abandoning his principles of truth for the sake of expediency...... No threat can make him view the difference between truth and error as petty and insignificant , thus making a merger of the two seem justifiable under such circumstances."----February 1, 1952 Watchtower p. 69 par. 1"
The stand taken here was in regard to interfaith, merging with other religions for political reasons. The difference between truth and error could have included any number of false teachings held by Christendom's Churches. Case in point, if you had any interest in what the truth is, you would explain it instead of taking things out of context and distorting the truth.
w52 2/1 p. 69 par. 1 Is Interfaith God’s Way?
JEHOVAH is a God of truth. He does not compromise with error. No crisis can panic him into abandoning his principles of truth for the sake of expediency. No peril can frighten him into uniting forces with error to present a more powerful front against a common enemy. No threat can make him view the difference between truth and error as petty and insignificant, thus making a merger of the two seem justifiable under such circumstances. His truth is recorded in his Word the Bible, and despite any crises or perils the future of that truth is assured: “The word spoken by Jehovah endures forever.” (Deut. 32:4; John 17:17; 1 Pet. 1:25, NW) Hence the true religion will not merge with false religions to face with greater numbers the double peril of communism and world war, as President Truman strongly urged in a speech to churchmen on September 28, 1951.

The WTS main selling dogma is the return of Christ and his kingdom here on earth, very catchy for a publishing company to
propagate on in selling literature to the public, especially a society that mainly consisted of Christian based faiths.
Russell knew it was catchy, so did Rutherford, all these charlatans and ones like them knew that the return of Christ was marketable.
The one and most potent scripture that the WTS. selectively refuses to accept and hold to is the one where Jesus stated that only the father knows
of his return ( sorry cant remember the exact scripture ) Jesus never stated that he would present a calculable date to the F&DSL.
And certainly didn't say the answer would be written in the size and dimensions of the great pyramid of Giza.
But nevertheless this is still the commercial foundation that the WTS still holds onto to this day in their professed doctrines.
Therefore its reasonable to say that the WTS. is a pretentious commercialized fraud, faithfully corrupt within its core structure.
Preaching the word of the Watchtower should never be compared to the real truthful word of the bible,
the two are separately different from one another.

Yes, the article was about interfaith, and as you pointed out, the Society doesn't approve of interfaith due to all the "false teachings held by Christendom's churches". Does that mean though that their (supposed) high moral principles on what is truth and lies are suddenly be abandoned when we're talking about all the "false teachings" held by the WTS? In your warped view, the answer of course is 'yes' with no viable reason other than your warped logic that all the rules apply to everyone else except the Witnesses. Tell me Alice, which part of the article does not apply to false prophecies made by false prophets:
"JEHOVAH is a God of truth. He does not compromise with error. No crisis can panic him into abandoning his principles of truth for the sake of expediency...... No threat can make him view the difference between truth and error as petty and insignificant, thus making a merger of the two seem justifiable under such circumstances."
The last sentence is particularly pertinent to the WTS because they most certainly feel that their false predictions are "petty and insignificant" and are certainly "justifiable" in their eyes. After all, wasn't it Rutherford who, after some failed prediction of his said "..We can thank the Lord, even for the mistake".
So please try reading and thinking before you post another absurd comment like that Alice. You're just digging yourself in deeper each time you do.

Correction. It was Charles Russell who stated the above after The End failed to come in October 1914. He even went so far as to try and claim that his false predictions were just a "natural mistake":
The author acknowledges that in this book he presents the thought that the Lord's saints might expect to be with Him in glory at the ending of the GentileTimes. This was a natural mistake to fall into, but the Lord over-ruled it for the blessing of His people. The thought that the Church would all be gathered to glory before October 1914 certainly did have a very stimulating and sanctifying effect upon thousands all of whom accordingly can praise the Lord--even for the mistake."---The Time Is At Hand, 1916
Rather that reel in the false predictions, Russell's inane attempt at justifying his embarassing interpretation of the bible, instead paved the way for an endless array of false dates that were set by the Organization. They felt that as long as their predictions were making the numbers go up, it was justifiable. Maybe they should have paid more attention to just reading the bible rather than trying to pull predictions out of a hat:
"Woe to those who are saying that good is bad and bad is good, those who are putting darkness for light and light for darkness, those who are putting bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter."--Isaiah 5:20

No one in the Bible called Jesus, "Immanuel"
Pretty much every trinitarian does...
