I have a celtic band around my right bicep (I am very muscular) and it suits my arm... and I have a celtic initial on my right shoulder blade.. the first letter of my first name. Tatts can be very tasteful.. but rarely on women, I find.

I saw one recently on a young woman (early 20s) that took my breath away - an 11 circuit labyrinth on her back that was about 10" in diameter.
They can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people, but me they mean cheap graffiti. Think about it - would you accept a photograph or picture in a magazine of such poor quality? The wt and awake had better quality printing in the late eighties. Why would you accept such a poor image on your body? When they offer high definition 5m+ pixel tattoos with vibrant colour they I'll review my opinion.
You can't give blood if you've recently had a tattoo so I won't be having one any time soon.

When I retire in 4 years I will consider getting tattoos all over, full upper body.
I think they look cool. But also when I see somebody with lots of tattoos, I see them as jail birds
and most of the time I am right.
I've seen some attractive girls with tattoos. But I wonder what they'll lool like when they're my age?
And as someone else mentioned... what about when the fad passes? Was it Ozzy Osborne who told one of his kids when they wanted to get a tattoo that if you wanna be a non-conformist 'don't' get a tattoo. Be different from everyone else running out getting them... Of course, I wouldn't hold Ozzy up as an example to my kid looking to get a tattoo but he had a point... it has become a fad. Most fads you can throw away or give away. Tattoos are very expensive and painful to remove. High price to pay to be on the cutting edge of a fad...
Even still...If I were 20 years younger and in better shape, I would still might just get a couple. Now I'm too old and while not completely out of shape, I can't go around without my shirt just to show off my (fl)abs or anything...
I really, really hate tattoos. I could never get one. They gross me out.
I have a chinese symbol on my foot that means truth,I got it just after leaving the jws and finding at the real truth,it symbolises my freedom from the cult, and reminds me how lucky i am to have got myself and my children out before i got baptised. It is quite small and easly covered up,especially where im from,it is raining mostly so my feet are covered! But it is pretty during the summer, not tacky which some can be.
When people gain a lot of weight, those tats may not be too beautiful after all.
MLE, Kat is now dating Jesse James. Given his background, unless you can dip Kat in a vat of antibiotics, I'd steer clear of her.

She's dating him?!?!?!? Wow. I agree between the two of them, antibiotics would be like treating cancer with aspirin LOL. Abstinence would be the only preventative measure when it comes to people like them. She'll have me urinating razor blades, beggin for penicillin.
