Ocarina is pretty much on everyone's Top 10 List. Definite props for Secret of Evermore! I still can't imagine I'll ever enjoy a SNES game more than Chrono Trigger though.
Another World... oh HELL YES! We in the States played it on our PCs, SNESes, Genesis (it was called "Out of This World" over here). But ya gotta play the original Amiga version! Been playing it on Cloanto's Amiga Forever emulator... it still kicks copious amounts of ass...
I have never played Chrono Trigger... I know I need to.
Oh I forgot about one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES:

^ That game f'ing rules.

I can't think of anything else other than the asteroid game.
And of course the BIRTH of the First Person Shooter explosion:

First console FPS phenomenon. I played it maybe a year ago, still fun.

Asteroids was great. The sequel, Blasteroids, is one of my favorites!
Anyone ever heard of a Sc-fi RPG called "BioForge"?

Man, I wish someone would do a remake of that one.

How about the last of the classic Don Bluth Laserdisc animated games: Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp?
^ They don't make em like they used to... back then the gameplay and stroryline was REQUIRED for a game to be successful, now a day... not so much, just flashy graphics :(
