Mouthy told me she was going to shave all her hair off and have the Watchtower logo tatooed

Mary I told you I would do that on my bare BUTT not my bald head ...& then expose myself to the "loving elders"

Lee do you want a picture of my Butt when I do it????

'The loving elders', Mouthy said it. Wow. They are not as loving as they are portrayed to be. :)

I cut mine as short as possible without buzzing it once. I'd bleached it blonde to be tinkerbell at halloween once, then got sick of the bleached after a month or so, and told the hairdresser to get rid of all the blond. I didn't realize how short that meant I had to go. However, I ended up loving it... though my husband, not so much.

But bald - no. For a good cause, perhaps, but not just because.

Ladies: I admit I'm kind of an old fashioned guy when it come to the subject of ladies hair. Perhaps it's my quasi-european upbringing? I DO like to see it long. (If it's at least long enough to cover a woman's bewbs it's just about perfect! Dunno why I think so.) As I've said in the men's thread, not even I would do it. (I'm not even close to going bald.)

To me there's also a more emotional component to it... That throughout the ages a woman's hair has been regarded as her pride and joy. If it was shaved off it would be an utter public humiliation and emotional trauma and has been used to that effect. If you see enough movies about previous ages, seeing women's heads shaved in a brutal fashion does have that kind of emotional impact. (Please spare me the arguement about this being a modern age...) Even today, many women will be in tears if they loose their hair for whatever reason. Can it not also be said that hair loss is associated with ILLNESS? Cancer, Alopecia, Trichotillomania, you name it. A lot of emotional pain and trauma associated with those for sure. It just freaks me out.

All I can say is from a man's opinion- it's all I've got to work with here. I find women much more beautiful with hair. Like Vampire I'm kind of old fashioned, but liberal towards women's rights. I know if I woke up in the morning and saw my wife was bald- I'd be thinking I had the worst nightmare in my life ! My wife's beautiful, and the hair is part of that beauty ! I'd also like to keep MY hair as well. Just my 2 cents
