That is true. I usually will throw a shoe at a spider to kill it. To kill a tarantula I would shoot it. Insects should not be big as mice and hairy. Yuck.

One, a spider is not an insect, and two, tarantula's are much larger than mice.

Sab, you're right they are arachnids (I still thought that was in the insect group though). Bigger that mice? Scary. Why do we even have tarantulas? What purpose do they serve?
