I'm so sorry to hear of your fall. I'm glad you didn't break or cut anything. Did you break the glasses? Bend them?

Don't you hate falling? The last time I did it, my glasses flew 60 feet into a snow bank. I hit my head so hard on the icy pavement that I couldn't understand why everything was blurry. My glasses go on my face as soon as I awaken and in my stupor, I thought I had forgotten to wear them, something I never do. I don't use my garage anymore. I park in the lot as close as I can to the door. I don't risk trying to walk all the way to the garage. I was walking along carefully. Next thing I know my head hit the pavement and all I could see was blurry sky.

ouch that sounds really bad. My glasses were badly mangled but not broken. I was able to get them back into shape though. I remember lying there taking inventory to see how badly hurt I was. At the time my head was the worst. Now it is my hand the swelling over the first two joints on my hand is now doubled the thickness of my hand. My doctor frined checked for what he called bosers breaks - happens when people box or hit walls. He said it all looked normal so it is just bad swelling. I will talk to him again a bit later

Thank you Heaven sayswho and quando

If you didn't hurt your feet, why aren't you out in field service?

Lady, I hope your glasses aren't fairly new with no warranty. I remember falling asleep with my glasses on. The slipped off and when I stood up, I stepped on them and they were never the same. They were new, so I had to put up with them being warped for a long time.

I had a fall like that and ended up tearing some ligaments in my knee. ..Watch for your knees to hurt later. If they don't you are one lucky gal.

I too thought my glasses were OK but a day or two later the lens just fell out..even tho I had checked them.

The slightest warp can loosen a lens.

Glad to hear it wasn't as bad as it could have been..take care.

How about a hot soak in the tub for the sore muscles..us single gals have to fend for outselves sometimes..

    Snoozy..

Oh I look real purty for the eye specialist today. I've been waiting for this appointment for 2 months and now I have two black eyes!!!

The glasses are brand new. They seem to be OK although it took a bit of time to get them sitting right on my nose.

The knee is doing well - sore and black and blue but very little pain. My Dr friend checked that out and had a bit of concern about it. After the eye Dr I am heading over to my own Dr office to see if they will check me out.

Ding that was so bad it made me laugh

    I'm so sorry.

I had a black eye from falling into a furniture corner. Everyone looked at me wierd, assuming I got into a fight. So, I told people, "Yeah, you should see the other person. He's real messed up."

    Anyway, I suggest a massage.
