So now they want the witlesses to act as if the doctrine was going to be stable now? How? After all, they changed "a generation" twice in as many years, dropped a boasting session by mixing it with another one, started Family Waste the Evening Night, changed the song book, muddied the waters further on oral sex and masturbation, prepared a new term "brazen conduct", and split the Washtowel rag into the Showcase edition and the Kool-Aid edition. And, we will probably get the next doctrine to change as apostates before they get them as hounders.

Yes the more one reads and studies the more one gets an understanding. But jw are told not to form separate study groups but to accept only what the WTS says.

So true. The meaning must be that the GB only is to keep reading and get better understanding after being "guided" by the HS. The rank and file are supposed to just await further instructions from the GB on what the proper understanding of the scriptures is.
