I always think of Vietnam . Some of the guys got lucky and got ministers deferments, others went to prision and some went to Canada and some went to Vietnam. It really was on TV everynight and it did feel like the world was ending .

Dallas texas on 636 ( LBJ for locals) had a huge billboard up after Timothy McVeigh bombed OLK city. It said " Highway to Hell" and callled him out by name. I will never forget seeing it on the way home from working . Texas put up a sign telling him to go to hell. Only in Texas. I love it here.
