Different people probably have different reasons for getting multiple tattoos. I just look at them and (silently) go "ow, ow, ow-eee."
Does it distract them from other internal pain, angers? Maybe, for awhile. Someone told me, for some they do get a 'high' from doing this.
On the other hand, this fella could be a 'teddy bear.'
My youngest son has the ears & a couple of tats, I think for him its to look as opposite as a jw as possible and to piss his dad off. Not sure about this guy, but hope my son doesn't go this far.
