When I was a kid, I loved "Bruce Lee."
Therefore, I was a shodan in "karate."

Well, a Japanese entertainer/idol "Shoko Nakagawa" (Shoko-tan) did his mimicry.

lol ... Same here Possible-san I was a big fan.

I had posters of Bruce Lee in my bedroom, I thought he was so cool (well he was).

    Thank you for your comment.

May be, he was really strong.
It is said that, those days, when someone pick a fight with him at a street, he has defeated entirely them.

Probably he was strong not only in the movie.
    He was so cool.

Bruce Lee will always be counted in the pantheon of martial arts legends. Many have enjoyed his movies, in which he displayed skill and power seldom seen before, but Bruce contributed mightily to the evolution of martial arts with the development of JKD and his philosophy of "absorb what is useful." Before Bruce came along it was unheard of that a Chinese Kung-Fu teacher would accept a non-oriental student, and Bruce literally had to fight for the right to teach whoever he wanted.

One advantage of living in Seattle is that Bruce Lee is part of this city, and I can visit his grave anytime I wish to pay respect to a great teacher.

    I envy you.
Please also include my prayer, if you may visit Bruce Lee's grave.
    Thank you.

Bruce Lee was the best. No one else has come even close to him.

I hate all the high tech fake stuff, so the only martial artist I'll watch today is Jackie Chan, or

I loved Bruce Lee too. My favorite scene was when Kareem Abdul Jabar left a footprint in his chest and pissed Bruce off. Hilarious. Fighting the clawed villain with the mirrors has to be in the top 10 grestest movie scenes ever. I liked Bolo Yeung too. I've never seen an Asian cat with a chest and arms that big. He was intimidating.

Bruce Lee was, far beywond his movies, an innovator, a pioneer and in many ways a visionary.

His "style" of Jeet kune do was the very first real style of MMA, though the practioners of kajukenbo will probably debate that :)

His best movie was Return of the Dragon, he directed it, wrote is, and choregraphed it and it stand as one of the best displays of MA ever on the screen.

Today, only Donnie Yen comes close in terms of screen MA charisma.

Bruc was to me, like so many others, an inpsiration to start and stay in MA and even the stuff that one learns over the years that casts a bit of a shadow on him and his acomplishments, still one must give credit where credit is do.

I had the chance to train with Dan Inosanto and you can still see the traces of Bruce's MA philosophy on everything that Dan does.
